OMG! I’m crying I’m laughing so hard!
While discussing protected groups in I/O Psych today,
My professor was giving an example about a BFOQ (Bona-Fide Occupational Qualification) and someone asked if that was like how some people need to look the part at Disneyland if they play characters…So basically they are allowed to discriminate if you don’t look the part of Cinderella, or Snow White, etc.
Well then my amazing professor shouts out,
“YES! Cinderella can not be a tall black man! Children would just be so confused!!”
I literally couldn’t stop laughing, picture this tiny Asian lady yelling that a Disney princess can’t be a tall black man… it was amazing!
