Tonight
Easily one of the most entertaining nights ever.
Had an awesome dinner consisting of: Chipotle Chicken kabobs, tortellini salad, and for dessert fruit salad.
Then as my dad, my sister, our friend’s Paul and Debbie, and I were sitting outside, we hear a rustling in the bushes. Let me lay out the story so you get an idea. The past couple of weeks, we’ve been finding huge wholes in our flower planters, and a plants missing, then tunnels in our garden and a destroyed tomato and squash plant. So, we took it upon ourselves to attack whatever was in the bushes. Well, we ended up running around my backyard chasing what we thought was a gopher. Turns out it was a shrew. Long story short, we finally killed it after about half an hour, but one ran past Paul and jumped into the garden. So one shrew down another to go. And there is still the question about the gopher in the garden making tunnels.
But I wish someone could have caught the whole spectacle on film, it was amazing!
Anyways, it was very eventful and ridiculously fun, probably a “you had to be there” type deal, but I just had to share :)
